Welcome, My name is Shlomit and I am a pre-licensed Mental Health Counselor providing virtual therapy for children and adults who are seeking deeper healing, self-understanding, and emotional growth. My work is rooted in Person-Centered Expressive Arts Therapy and Somatic Therapy (Hakomi), approaches that honor the natural wisdom of both the mind and body in the healing process. Many people struggle to put their feelings into words. Through creative expression, mindfulness, and body-based awareness, I help clients access emotions that may be difficult to articulate and transform them into meaningful insight and growth. Whether through art, movement, imagery, or gentle somatic exploration, therapy becomes a space where clients can safely reconnect with themselves and discover new possibilities for healing. My approach is compassionate, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive. I work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences, creating an environment where clients feel respected, understood, and empowered. I have experience working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, divorce, life transitions, attachment wounds, and chronic pain. Together, we explore challenges, strengthen emotional resilience, and cultivate greater self-compassion and clarity. Because therapy is offered virtually in a private and supportive setting, clients can access care from the comfort and safety of their own space.
